I am setting up my kids ipads and playing around with restrictions. I locked down a lot of settings and things they can access. Then I turned restrictions off for me to use the iPad to set it up and what not. When I turned restrictions back on, none of my previous restrictions were there. I Did use a different password to turn them back on. My question is, if my wife and I want to use the ipads without restrictions will we have to goin and set EVERYTHING back up every time we want to turn restrictions back on? Or did they not save because I established a new password?

Yes. And no. Password used has nothing to do with this.

So basically every time the restrictions are turned off it goes back to defaults on those settings? That's a pain. I guess I can just adjust the restrictions but not completely turn it off then.
