My daughter upgraded to the 6. She put everything on the Cloud. When she went to put everything on her new phone none of her apps downloaded. She went to the App Store and downloaded the ones she had before. She had an app called the Vault. None of her information is there. Help! How can she get it back?

Was she able to download the app or is it the information within the app that's missing?

Was the app checked on Settings>>iCloud>>Storage>>Manage Storage>>(iPhone Name under Backups) Look under Backup Options. The app should have been turned on. It would tell you how much data within the app was saved. Of course, you would need to do this on the old iPhone.

Unfortunately she traded her old phone in.

In addition to "putting everything on the Cloud," do you happen to know if she also put a copy of everything [on the old iPhone] onto her computer... using the software application known as iTunes?

Just a big note: iCloud does not back up the app itself but only the app data.
Another note: many productivity apps these days store data in the cloud (not iCloud but on the app company servers). In this case, app data backed up in iCloud is nothing but the app settings and NOT the actual documents or in "The Vault"'s case passwords.
