yes!

Has anyone tried those ringtone uploading sites...I used it on my lg chocolate but does it work for the iPhone?

iToner works great, ive added about 30 (full length) songs as ringtones on my iPhone. The only issue i see with it is that after I turn my iPhone off, I have to reload the ringtones (which actually doesn't take very long at all)

I highly recommend at least trying one of these sites (check MacRumors or engadget to find the best ones) before paying a buck and a half per song/ringtone which (at least for now) is a very limited library

i only have a mac, so i couldn't tell you if that one works for PC, but i give one word of advice, stay clear of anywhere that has to have your cell phone number/ any personal info besides your email address/name to register. you might try using this method http://www.pqdvd.com/blog/iPhone/category/iphone-ringtone/

and if that doesn't work, here is the link for the twin for iToner, for PC (but you might HAVE to pay for it after a trial period)

Is itoner considered a mod? I mean does it hack your iPhone in anyway? and the fact that the ringtones get deleted everytime the phone gets turned off is strange, cause ill have to sync my phone before i run out and that takes time for me

no, iToner is not a mod, it doesn't hack into your iPhone. As far as the shutting off and on thing, i don't do it very often, so it doesn't happen very often, and it also might be something that im doing personally wrong or my iPhone. iToner seems to be pretty fool proof, and actually they just came out with an update yesterday that makes it even easier (instead of having to copy ringtones to your desktop then drop them into iToner, you can drag and drop from iTunes). Everyones experience is different, but for me, Ive tried several sites, and iToner works the best, is the easiest and has the least problems.
