It really serves as a strong reminder that we should be grateful for our good health above all. Without that, no amount of success matters... Very sad. He was so young.

Oh my God.. I'm extremely sad at this. I just read it on Facebook.

My condolences to his whole family and friends. He truly was a genius and a one-of-a-kind man. He will definitely be missed by his family, friends, and millions of his loyal fans. I'll never stop buying Apple products just for your memory, Steve, because you've made that company the best.

Even though I do not know you, I feel like I've lost a close friend and an idol. Rest in peace, and I'm glad that you're in a better place now.

I think it's quite possible that, knowing how important yesterday was to his beloved company and customers, he found the strength somehow and willed himself to live for one more day. It was, his final, "one more thing."

I was thinking that. The guy cared about this company more than none of us could ever imagine.

I actually still have tears filling my eyes... I really admired him and followed him since the early 90's... We shared the same spiritual journey and his energy will forever be with us

I don't think smartphone technology would be where it is today without him. I wish I could have met him. He was the dreamer and the innovator and behind these ideas. Goodbye, Steve. You will be greatly missed.

They all seemed to be putting on a facade. I guess they knew it was coming. Hopefully he got to see the keynote and his final product launch.
