I'm sitting here looking at my iPad mini trying to imagine using a phone nearly that big. I wonder how many XZU's sony will sell...

I think the trend toward 5"+ screens will result in diminishing returns. I hear from a lot of people in other forums who instantly want a new device because it has a larger screen than what theirs has. If that's the only criterion for wanting a device, that's goofy, in my opinion.

That phone needs to come with a free Bluetooth headset.

Many people prefer the larger firm factor, I've seen a trend among teens toward bigger screens in my neck of the woods, not sure why but there's certainly a market for it.

Wow, I had the Note II on loan for a few weeks. I had a real tough time using a phone that big. I cannot imagine using that Xperia.

humm this is an interesting thread. as i sit here looking at my S4 right next to my 4s you know it's not really that much bigger. not to mention the 4s is much heavier and thicker, it's just that the iPhone has such huge boarders that in my opinion are wasted. the 4s top and bottom boarders take up about 25% of the phone i think iPhone users would much rather have thinner/smaller boarders and in it's place put a bigger screen while keeping the physical aspects of the phone the same. i guess you can say i'm a small boarders type of person.

I love the physical home button. They'd have to get rid of that to fully utilize space. Would anyone else hate to see that go or would you rather that space be used for the screen?

what about if it was just a bit smaller and use that space to make the screen bigger? also the iPhone's top boarder is also big and takes up too much valuable real estate. but this is just my opinion. im sure someone even wishes it was even bigger.

They can put the home button on the side near thr volume buttons, then thr space can be utilized :)
