No problem. Still not finished yet. All the URLs are broken. App works, but that's it.
These server moves almost never go as planned. Good luck. And we look forward to the new.

Well we're moved and the site is functional. Not as smooth as I would have liked on a number of issues. It appears they didn't follow directions about using a fresh copy of the database. That means we lost posts, which grinds my gears. I could close up the site and have them push a fresh db, but having spent the last 2 hours fixing a critical issue that rendered the site useless... I think it's best to cut my losses (our losses). My apologies to any of those who were affected by posts not making the transfer over.

In any event, it's time for some shut eye. I'm exhausted.

chris, I sincerely hope that they messed up the system time, for it seems to indicate you were up at 3AM writing that post. I hope you're taking the day off from any kind of work whatsoever today--you deserve it. Thank you!

I'm not sure if you want some feedback here. my intention is to provide you information and not be critical. I've lived through migrations and know how stressful they are.

Here is a couple of odd things I've notices as a user: the app crashed 10-hours ago from now on both my iPhone and iPad. I could get in. The second odd thing was opening my ipad app this morning. Crashed once then opened again. When it crashed this was the screen shot:

I experienced somewhat the same thing, but, the screenshot you provided is because your not connected to wifi. :)

Tiny issue: When I read @Target's post, this is what I see. The image doesn't display. But when I tap on the question mark, then the image displays perfectly. Just to help troubleshoot--not a complaint!

Actually I was. The wifi icon disappeared when the app attempted to open. Once closed I was still connected. Happened twice.

Okay, I just fixed a few major issues. Broken URL's, slow loading site should be fixed.

The site should be loading fast now. It's going to get even faster. Still some optimization happening.

You can see forum load times in the footer while we are in debug mode. Page load is 0.0944 seconds. Prepare for ludicrous speed.

And as far as these things go, even when you think it's over, it's probably not....
That's the truth. Oddly enough I'm finding old configurations, code that should have been removed from the old server. Not to mention, I spent 2 days removing old software and all sorts of junk. Maybe some of this spring cleaning will inspire me to clean my Mac.

Search working, but it's not our awesome search. That will take a day or so to get someone in to configure.

TapaTalk plugin updated also today. Figured it might help clear out any of the wonky happening because of the move. Also, with so much stuff broken earlier today, why not throw caution to the wind.

More caching optimization added. Looking into hiring someone now to get our old search back and possibly look over the optimizations done to date. We're on a roll now.
