Sorry about that guys. Ludicrous speed does sometimes result in bad things happening.

Have someone coming in tomorrow, Saturday to do some ultimate tweaking. He's a XenForo specialist.

One other planned downtime will be to double the RAM on the server.

We have a planned outage coming this morning in order to upgrade RAM on the server. Should be no longer than 10-15 minutes.

Sorry it's been so problematic. Glad you've got a good handle on issues and good people to work with.
The move was a smart one. The move itself has been poorly handled. Lost data, downtime. All the things you try to avoid. At this point, I'm in 'rip the bandaid off' mode. Let's just endure another short outage, get the RAM in the server and than hope for some stability. Still one optimization that hasn't been finished, so not out the woods entirely. Not sure that I have the stomach for it today.

Yup, I know that feeling. When I moved from Rackspace it ws absolutely the right thing to do. I used the supposed A Team of migration movers and they dropped the ball so many times they shoulda been called Tony Romo Movers.

It's hard to describe that moment at 2:30 a.m. when you've been waiting 2 hours for them to reply to a trouble ticket regarding every link on your site pushing a 404.

Oh, that's so awful. It's the powerless part that's the worst I think - when you've run out of things you can do and you can only wait on others.

I was fortunate and had most of mine done within daytime hours. Few issues cropped up day after but mostly smooth sailing.

I'm betting it has to do with missing the .htaccess, or the .htaccess being ignored.

Chris, just wanted to ask if you're aware of a transition issue that may be making my posts have gone MIA? I'm not referring to the ones from the evening of the server switch, I'm aware that a few of those got lost, but when I go to "Rafagon", then "Your Content," I only see 183 results. My total post count is ~1200 and that does appear to still read correctly.

The content that does show on that screen is everything from today, everything from yesterday, then it skips all the way back to January 2012 and lists everything from there backwards...

Was not aware, but will look into it now.

I am guessing that is a limitation of the search results database, each search can only have 200 posts in it and due to content deletions or permission errors, the actual number visible in the search may be lower. My lucky number is 196

It's the same thing at Xenforo, I think. I have 600 some odd posts. Shows me 166.
