Hey folks. With the summer months coming up and severe weather following, I'd like to get an app that will sound off with an alarm when a tornado is close by..... just like the severe weather radios that you can buy. From what I've searched I think this one may work best but since we can't get a refund in the app store..... has anyone tried it? Opinions?
    Thanks all.

I have the weather Channel app and it is good and updates often with severe weather warnings. Notifications works well with it.
    It's free.

I'm another Weather Alert USA user, thanks BennyBoy for that tip ages ago.
It's a great app with multiple alert settings. Many times during hurricane season here in FL, it's going off just as the tv/radio alerts go off. Sometimes my phone notifies me first.
    +11 for the app.

I like Weather Alert USA also , was great living in Lubbock with the severe weather they get but don't use it quite as much now in Abq

I almost always got the phone alert before our weather radio would go off
