Is there a need to go with 32gig ?
I have a 64 gig 1st gen iPad & have about 15 gig of stuff in there.
With the iPhone is 32gig the better option ?
Would appreciate some inputs.
Got about a week to decide.

Well with everything going cloud based to where less is being stored on the phone it's kinda a toss up. I have a 16 but If I could have afforded it I would have gotten a bigger one. It's always nice to not have to constantly worry about space. You can store way more without having to constantly delete things. But in the end it just all depends on how much you will use it. I would say if you had 15gb on your old one then I would definitely get the 32gb, that way your not always maxed out.

My rule of thumb is simple. Go with the largest you can afford. If not, try to double what you have now. Photos, videos and some of the better games are large in size. Depending on what you want with you should lead your storage size.

I would say 32 if you can afford it. Like Jim, I got the 16 but would have gotten the 32 or even the 64 if I could have afforded it. Remember the 4S has the highest-resolution camera on an iDevice yet, so pictures will be larger, as well as videos you shoot since they're shot in 1080p. There's nothing to lose by getting a 32 and always having some space to spare. If you'll want to have a generous selection of songs and music videos handy then it's definitely a good idea to get the larger storage. If you'll want to keep movies on your device, even more so.

I made the mistake of going 16gb for my old 4. Was annoying having to take stuff off to put other stuff on. As above, the 4S' camera will start to chew up space if you use it heaps and keep the pics/video on the phone.
64gb was a major incentive for me to lose the 4, plus the price between the 32 and 64gb models was small in the scheme of things.

Wonderful post. I would definitely try to incorporate the tips you have shared. I would be glad if you could refer me some more stuff of niche.

Per advice of this very helpful and informative group, I'll opt for the 32gig iPhone 4s in black.
The case would be the lifeproof as again adviced by this helpful group.
Thanks guys!
