Since Siri is now part of the OS, should I just delete the Siri app when I get my 4s?

That's not the real Siri app. This is brand new to the os.

Actually Apple purchased the company who created the initial Siri app. Its been pulled from the app store so I will delete it after I upgrade.

Okay, then yes. I'm sure this will be much better.

If it's not going to hurt you to keep it, don't delete. I've found old apps sometimes are better than the new ones that replace them. I'm not talking specifically about Siri since I don't have it but what can it hurt to keep it for now? I say don't delete.

I could of swore I saw someplace saying the old app will be deactivated and pulled from the store.

Deactivate? So it has to connect somewhere to be able to use it? He said it isn't at the app store anymore but if he has it why delete it.

As I've heard, the current Siri app using server processes on your request rather than relying solely on the phone. It's that backend that is to disappear.
    YMMV

Then once that happens if it's not useable then of course time to delete.
