I hope none of it's true. Maybe we'll hear or see something this week.

I'll say it again: not until 3.0 would be my guess...

Well unless Appleinsider is lying they said they spoke to Sling media and it will be out between 6:00 pm eastern time and midnight:

http://www.appleinsider.com/article...one_to_sell_for_30_and_support_wifi_only.html
It looks like it's confirmed, http://www.engadget.com/2009/05/12/slingplayer-mobile-for-iphone-coming-shortly-29-99-no-3g-supp/. But it's gonna be WAY overpriced and not nearly the functionality I had hoped for. I'm very disappointed and don't plan on getting a SlingBox anymore about what I'm reading. Guess I'll wait for Hulu.

Anyone think jail breaking could allow access to 3G with some tweaking through WinSCP or some other program?

Search in Cydia for "VoIP3G"
So this VoIP3G I've heard about. Now is it simply that you install it and it runs in the background? So anytime you boot up a wi-fi only app, VoIP3G will start up on its own and ensure 3G usage, or do you have to open that App first? Sorry as I'm going slightly off topic here but I definitely am interested in this option.
