I travel a lot for businesss and I noticed yesterday when I was in an area with no service the SMS text messages do not goto an 'outbox' when I am in an area with no service, it just relays an error sending msg and stays on the screen with the text not sent. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue. Other than that I have no complaints on the iPhone.

Yeah, same thing here.

It will stay ready to send later, it just won't do it automatically. If you hit the home key to get back to the home screen, it will still keep that message up. Kinda a pain, but i never leave a strong service area, so doesn't bother me any. Sorry if that's giving you headaches. :p

Yeah. It wasn't a big deal to me. I just moved or waited a few seconds and then sent it again. I liked that because I knew it sent right away.
Yeah, same here. One time last night, i had to try it 3 times before it would send, 5 bars of signal. lol

Good 'ol AT&T network. :D
