In /var/root/.profile

Add this line:
PATH=$PATH:/opt/iPhone/bin/

You can do it through ssh, winscp, etc.

Ok, so all .something files in unixish OSes are hidden. Go into terminal and type:

ls -a

If a file named .profile doesn't show up, then create one using one of many methods:
In terminal or via PuTTY: "pico .profile" (without the quotes).
Add the line:
PATH=$PATH:/opt/iPhone/bin/
(hit return once more)
Then do a ctrl-x. If you are in terminal then use the bullet dot on your KB as ctrl. Save it.

You can also create a file using WinSCP.

please report back if it works for you.

BTW, ".profile" is just a text file.

Another warning! I have seen next line (CRLFs) being borked if I do editing of .profile in Wordpad. Use the editor that comes with WinSCP if you have to...
