Wondering the best way to solve iPhone problems.

Great phone but recently it seemed that the phone will not ring when called.

I had this problem a month ago and it was solved by my plugging in the earphone and then removing it. I thought that it might have something to do with listening to music on the iPod function. Today I cannot (again) get a ring tone (only vibrate) when someone calls. (I recently used the iPod function which I don't do that often)

Any advice?

Thanks,

Freddie

I took the advice that someone posted for newbies to do a SEARCH.
I found out about the D... switch on the side that I did not know about (the silent switch) and somehow tweeked when I put the rubber thingy on my iPhone.... (no jokes here....)
And putting the switch in the right position solved my problem.....
