Boy doesn't that sound ungrateful?
Got a new iPad Air for Christmas... Looking for features that I couldn't find on the device thinking it was the Air 2.
Asked in a round about way if she knew which model it was ( need to get a case for it ) because this isn't the latest one.
Open mouth insert foot on that one.
Bless her heart though..she tried.

Honestly, the original iPad Air is plenty powerful and more than sufficient for most. Until Apple Pay becomes commonplace, Touch ID is nice, but more of a luxury at this point. What color and storage did you get?

You can always take it back and replace it, just tell her that one was defective and they ran out of it causing you to get the newer model lol ;)

Trustworthy is right. I passed my old 5 down to my much better half when I bought my new 6. The 5 is still going strong in my wife's hands and her old 4S was given to my son's mother-in-law as a Christmas present because her old 3G got dropped about 10 feet onto concrete (very ugly outcome). Bought an Iphone 6 for myself and made three people happy. How cool is that?!?!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!

I won an iPad Air in a workplace raffle. This was about a month before the new iPad Air 2 came out. Since it was my first iPad, I'm more than happy with it.

It was a 16GB Silver wifi model, so before opening the package I took it to the Apple Store and traded it in to get a 32GB Space Gray unit. They gave me the full $499 value so I just paid $100 for the upgrade.
