I was just wondering if there gonna still charge the people that don't have 3G coverage in there area the $30 a month instead of the $20 a month. I mean im gonna get it regardless but it just don't make sense to have to pay for sumthing you don't get. The closest place that has 3g near me is about 70 miles away from me.

Please let me know what you guys think.

This is a very good point. I don't see AT&T prorating your bill based on actual connection time to 3G towers. This is really gonna suck for a lot of folks.

Im sure you would have to pay for it. The iPhone goes on a 3G plan and you have to pay for that plan just like any other plan.

So I guess some of us cant/wont upgrade then, if it gonna be like that?
-Im not going to pay over $200 dollars worth of 3G I wont be using, cause ya kno the 3G part of the plan is an extra $10 dollars and over 2-years=24 months=$240 dollars.
