Summary Tab

    I am trying to Restore my iPhone to factory settings, however when I Click iPhone in iTunes, there is no summary tab, and therefore I can not click restore. any suggestions?

    So for anyone who is interested, I have figured out how to restore an iPhone, even if it is not registered.

    While the iPhone is plugged in to your computer and iTunes is opened, hold down the menu button and the power button for about 25 seconds (until the screen says "Please connect to iTunes"). The iPhone will be in recovery mode and iTunes will ask you if you want to restore the firmware. Click yes.

    Note: The process of downloading the firmware and installing it takes a VERY long time (like 20 minutes if I remember correctly).
