Do you own a Ford car\truck?
If you connect your iPhone 6 via BlueTooth, do you receive text messages on your car display?

Thanks

I drive a ford escape and my wife drives a ford fusion. I use a 6+ and she uses a 5s. Neither of us receive texts on our car display. In the past iPhones were not supported for that function whereas some other phones were. I never really cared about it so have not researched it any further.

I have a 5S and something in iOS 8 broke that... I have a Camaro and it has Mylink in it. It's worked flawless up until iOS 8. Reading my texts, Activating Siri from my Steering wheel. Sadly No Texts now, or Siri using the keypad since the update. I was hoping 8.1 would fix it. But whatever they broke, they broke it well.

I used to get message notifications on my SYNC. For some reason, not anymore. I checked it and my head unit message notifications is set to on.

Update: I just fixed it. I went into the bluetooth devices on my iPhone 6 Plus and touched the "i" with the circle around it beside the Bluetooth device name. Show notifications was set to off. I turned it on. Reconnected the iPhone to SYNC again and is now working. I hope this fixes it for you.

I've checked my settings, and it was already on. I'll remove the iPhone from my car's bluetooth, and then reconnect it. Hopefully that will solve it...
