Sync Problem error 11333

I broke my iPhone and Apple sent me a loaner then a new one. So I tried syncing the loaner and it gave me a error box with the error Code: 11333. So, when I got my new phone from Apple, i tried plugging it in, same problem. I called Apple already and 1st they told me to uninstall and re install iTunes, did that with no help. Then I called again, and they told me to dl some random file from the web from this website

did that with no help. So then I tried loading the iPhone onto another computer, same error at first then it said wait until iTunes recognizes your service on your iPhone. Takes a while and says cannot procede and this time try again. Any suggestions?

PS. Here is the full written our error message:

"iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. An unknown error occurred (11333). Make sure you network connection is active and try again."

The only thing that I would think was wrong based on that error message (assuming that you're trying to activate that iPhone?) is that you don't have an available internet connection, which wouldn't make sense because you obviously have internet access seeing as you've posted on the forum. I would suggest reinstalling iTunes and then trying again because maybe the download got interrupted.

Hey thanks for the quick reponse. But I am not a new iPhone user, just broke my phone and got sent a new one. Also, yes I do indeed have the internet. Oh yeah and I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling with a full reboot! :mad:

Ok after doing a bit more research apparently the 11333 error code is extremely prevalent right now with the new 1.1.1 upgrade and iTunes 7.4.x. As of yet Apple is still working on correcting the issue but everything I'm reading is suggesting the "sit and wait patiently technique" :(.

Awesome that helped rid of the 11333 problem, I am a clown and had my date set to December 4th, 2007. When it is actually October 4th, 2007. However the iPhone still won't sync. Its taking forever at that

Awesome that helped rid of the 11333 problem, I am a clown and had my date set to December 4th, 2007. When it is actually October 4th, 2007. However the iPhone still won't sync. Its taking forever at that

I waited over 2 minutes and got this error: iPhone activations are not available at this time. to activate your iPhone please try again, you may disconnect your phone at this time.

Dunno if you looked through the whole thread on the Apple site, but there wre some other suggestions too (other than the date thing)... did you try any of those?
