Syncing songs onto iPhone without loosing music already on it?

I want to put songs from my old iPod onto my iTunes library, and then onto my iPhone. Problem is it won't let me moves the songs from my iPod onto my iTunes? Can anyone help me with that? And once they are on there, how do I get them onto my iPhone without wiping out all the songs already on my iPhone? Heelllpp!

then check out http://www.getsharepod.com/download/ to get music from your iPod to your iTunes Library. Once you have it all in there, putting the music on your phone without erasing what you have shouldn't be a problem. Just sync how you always sync.

So I've tried a couple of programs for backing up music on my phone that aren't on my Mac, haven't found a free one so I still haven't been able to back up all my songs yet. My question is, is there a way to see which songs aren't backed up?

PS... for some reason my EIC app wasn't letting me post

Once I have all the music I want on sharepod, how do I get it onto iTunes? Or my iPhone?

I use copy trans manager (free)
You can add videos/music/PDF
And just click update and it does not delete any music/videos/PDF.
