If you are on Rogers, then you can set a text signature through there "Rogers App", but still doesn't work for iMessage :(

You can turn iMessage off. iMessage goes through Apple's servers directly and not solely through your carrier, that's why the signature from the carriers app doesn't carry over.

Frankly, if I'm texting someone and I get a signature with every response, I get super annoyed and all communication ends!

Agreed. Email is already bad enough with those bloated signatures and associated disclosures.....

I don't see the point of text signatures. If the person you're talking to doesn't already know whatever factoid it is that you put into the signature, why don't they ask?

I used to get upset when a person had some long signature that included a quote because it would eat into the 150 characters and I would only get a portion of their message.

Exactly! It's soo annoying! I stopped texting my brother, because he always insists on using one!
