That's how it is at my job lol. They stopped giving people cost of living raises after they top out. Now they just pay them a check for the amount of cost of living raises over the course of 40 hours a week for a year in one lump sum. That way, they won't pay extra overtime for the whole year. But they told all the top out people that the economy is bad so they don't get a dime. no raise no bonus. yet me, not topped out yet, I got a raise! How does that make sense?!
