The only network which the iPhone works with is AT&T is Apple planning to make the iPhone compatible with other networks such as verizon wireless.
Maybe in the next generation? Has anyone heard anything about expanding the iPhone network.

Some people are trying to unlock the phone to use it on different carriers, and i believe there has been some success, but i don't know any thing about it.

If you really want the phone, switch carrier's.
I am pretty happy with AT&T, i had verizon before.

Verizon is a CDMA network. The iPhone is GSM. So no, not gonna happen with Verizon.

AT&T has been decent for me.

Same here,.. I've been with Cingular-AT&T for 4 years now, and I've had all the other major carriers. I have no compliants.
