Chocolate covered crickets don't entice you at all to break away from the vegan life?

Those cricked-shaped chocolates are very disgusting. No offense to anyone.

I am 40 minutes into day 3 of meetings at work and I have my first 20 ounce coffee down and about to drink my Monster Rehab. I need a caffeine iv in my arm today.

Going to spend Saturday at Kennedy Space Center to watch Shuttle Discovery get mated to the 747 that will take her to DC on Tuesday.
    Truly her last 'flight' :(

Sad to see her & the rest of the fleet decommissioned, that's for sure.

Oh how sad did ya have a tear in your eye?
The space program is such a part of our lives
One of my earlier memories is the first moon walk and I was so little but still I remember that day and how quiet the city was and the world stood still as I remember it.

Where in MD are you moving? I live in Baltimore and work near Goddard, at a place called ATK Space Systems.

Wrote one of the hardest letters I've ever written today. After 26.5 years, I filed the paperwork for my retirement from the FD effective April 30th. Scary as hell to be honest. I have pretty much had 2 jobs & 1 career in my working life. A convenience type store, a pizza place and my career in the fire service. Everyone tells me I'm just starting a new chapter in my life.... It better be one heck of a book, that's for sure. LOL

That is awesome Scott. I would like to thank you for all of the years of service in the FD. I can't imagine all of the people that you have helped through the years.

Thanks. It's been a pretty emotionally rough day today and more to do tomorrow. The person who starts the filing process had already gone home for the day by the time I got done talking with the Chief. I'm hoping to be able to stay active with them in another way, but out of the actual line operations, riding in an engine, etc...

Just read an article about the USPS. You guys still have post offices? In Canada I haven't seen one in ages. They've pretty much all converted to kiosks in the convenience and drug stores.
