Hello, I wanted to sell my iPhone 2G 8Gb, found a customer and went to restore it for him. I obviously did something wrong, since the phone is now stuck in recovery mode and says 'NO SIM card installed, insert a valid SIM with no PIN lock to activate the phone.', also has a slide for emergency.

Before this happened it was jailbroken, on iOS 3.1.3, with the whitedoor mode. I am from Croatia and it's a AT&T model bought in the states, I was running a T-Mobile card on it.

Hope you can help me out with this one, thanks.

Since you don't have an active AT&T SIM to activate it, you can jailbreak and hactivate it with redsn0w version 0.9.4. Download the 3.1.2 ipsw first.

Thank you for the quick answer! Sounds great, but I don't understand much of it. Could you walk me through the process, or do you know any how-to's? Thanks!
