That's a tablet not a phone so you shouldn't compare it as the iPhone does not compete with tablets leave that for iPad and no matter what it doesn't look like any of these super screen wannabe iPads can dethrone the real one it's funny they keep bumping specks and selling the screen size I think this will fall to the wayside like the rest

And at this point it's just display technology. Could find it's way onto any platform or never. Until then it's a bit of a unicorn like Samsung's transparent or flexible display tech.

Why are we comparing phones to tablets?
And a 6.1" tablet sounds dumb

The choice on a prototype's size is to demonstrate how large it can be produced versus a suggestion of new tablet form factor.

There comes a point where higher and higher resolution does nothing for the user experience. All it does is jack up the price of the device and give something to ├╝ber-geeks to point to and say, "Ooooh Ahhhhh." And what happens to text at progressively higher and higher resolutions?

329ppi is good enough for any screen. I can *barely* make out individual pixels if they're all colored the same on the iPhone 4/4S (note I have 20/10 vision). There's no need for anything smaller than that, just a waste of money.

It's funny to see these resolutions on such small screens. I can understand if the screen was meant for computer monitors or laptops but on phones and tablets. It's overkill.

To be fair, you don't really sit six inches away from your laptop or desktop.

I have 20/15 vision, but that really doesn't make a difference on close up vision.
