I have an iPhone 5 and my question is why does this app need a sensor to chart progress? If you go to the App Store, Nike has a similar app that says it does not need any other products to use this for workouts. Why have this app on the phone but cannot be used without purchasing a sensor? Dumb.

I believe it was for the iPod, not iPod touch which has no g sensors or GPS. Hence the need for the accessory.....

Then why would my i5 be requesting a "sensor" calibration? Weird..

That's the thing, I shouldn't have to add an app since it came with the app preloaded on my phone.. My point being they dropped the ball on that one b/c I shouldn't have to use a sensor.. Thanks for the interest, but I use mapmyrun since the Nike app didn't work.

Your phone shouldn't come pre loaded with anythin......unless I'm missing something here? It should be blank apart from the system apps

Yes, I realize that. Again, my point is why attach this to the phone if you can't use it "out of the box"? Should've hard wired it opposite and all would be good.
