Pfftt, can't believe there isn't an Olympic thread, thank god I'm here to save the day.
Share your best moments as they happen, your favorite athletes etc..,

My favorites to watch is swimming and diving, cycling of any kind and track and field. Tough day for Michael phelps today, expectations are very high here.

To be completely honest, I have absolutely no internet in this year's Olympic games. I used to be interested in them in the past, and boy do I love playing Olympic games (video games, though :D), however there's too much stuff going on with the country as well as with my life at the moment that I neither have the energy nor the will to watch it. We're also in the month of Ramadan (Google it), which doesn't make things easier as there are a lot of TV shows that are made specifically for Ramadan, and I mean A LOT, that they're just overwhelming.

Anyway, link your favourite moments here from YouTube or anything when you can; I guess that would be fun for all of us.

Thanks, Benny!

I've only been able to watch one set so far but Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh are always my favorite summer Olympians. Hoping for a Gold Medal Three-Peat!

Congratulations to Canada! :) I'm watching volleyball right now, and tune into the women's beach volleyball later.

I absolutely love the Summer Olympics. Enjoy nearly all the sports, but particular favorites are track & field, boxing, basketball, gymnastics (mens and womens), rowing, and swimming.

I am so, so disappointed and pissed off with NBC's craptastic coverage though. I think it's ridiculous, lame, and downright disrespectful to be showing us events hours and hours after they took place. It's one of the worst examples of America thinking the world begins and ends within its borders. 204 nations are taking part in this, and it's been one of or the greatest sporting event in the world for a long, long time - and we don't get to see it live. Makes me wish I was back in the UK and could enjoy the BBC's always excellent coverage.

I'm just tired of watching beach volleyball gotta be honest. Of all the beautiful events that go on I gotta watch this crap. I have to stay up till 2AM to watch something good, it's kind of sad.

Finally got tired of the constant commercials so I am recording tonight's events so I can fast forward the commercials.

Besides the mistakes, Romania looked the best to me as far as women gymnastics, but again, too many mistakes.

Yes, I'm watching women gymnastics.

Italy is in third place with the medal count.
Yeah, they have done well in the first couple days. Very disappointed with Pellegrini and Scozzoli today in the 100m breaststroke, we expected a medal there.

When that Douglas girl does the floor exercise, with that music, she makes me wanna get off the couch and start tumbling up and down the stair with my tighty whities.

Anyone know what time women's individual gymnastics starts? Found myself watching something last night, which I knew wasn't going to turn out well after it wasn't highlighted on the news. Forget her name, but it was the horse -- Mackayla something.

I watch repeats every night from 8-12 that I know.
