Hi Guys. I cant seem to find out how to delete the "OTHER" portion in my iPhone. When i did the 1.1.3 JB the orange bar has over 400 MB of space but i just cant seem to find out how to clear some or all of it. I did the App that moves all the apps from one section to the other but i still have over 400MB in "Other". Can Anyone give me some advice on how to remove it and make more space in my iPhone? Please help~! Thank you so much!

which jailbreak method did you use?

Nate True's? the Dev Teams?
Thank you for Taking the Time to reply to my post! I actually did the Dev Team JB. Not sure why theres two separate JB methods but thats the one i used.

no problem.

there is a way to get rid of most of this.

you go to installer, add the bigboss source, if you don't already have it,

then go to all packages, and find 300 MB file remover or whatever it is called,

after it installs, go to the uninstall tab, and click uninstall on the package.

thanks for the info! I tried what you suggested and it seems it only works for the 1.1.1 firmware. Do u know any other suggestions I might be able to try?

Well Im back again and i added the source but it still basically told me the same Error message that my phone isn't a 1.1.1. Weird....At this point i really don't know what else to do. Can i possibly Look for the File to delete in the "finder" app?

this may sound really inane, but have you tried clearing the queue first, and then trying to use the fix?

you may want to consider restoring and rejailbreaking with ZiPhone.

I had Nate's version, till it crashed and wouldn't boot normally anymore, then I restored to 1.1.3, used ZiPhone to unlock and jailbreak.

would I still be able to restore to 1.1.3 even if the new firmware is out?

you would have to manually do it..

as in, download 1.1.3 yourself, and then shift restore.

Great! i did what you said and it worked. Now the only thing is there's still 188.6MB still in the "OTHER" portion. Hmmmm.. Is that Normal?
