Not sure if you guys have seen this or not. This is a observation.
    I had a Jailbroken iPhone 4. I just recently got a 4S.
Before picking up my 4S, I backed up to iCloud. Then on the old phone, I wiped it out, and give it to my wife.

I was very happy to Jailbreak this weekend and I noticed as I was adding my Favorite Jailbreak Tweaks back, that I had to adjust no settings. Everything was set up as I left it on my old phone.
Could this be because my new phone was restored from iCloud? It remembered the old settings. Even down to the network name I used in MyWi. It was nice not to have to set everything else back up. Just thought it odd, that there must be some type of file out there, that was restored to my new phone from the old one.

Did you use the new Absinthe jailbreak?

Ok, so that's the answer to you question. Absinthe didn't require a restore, it ran pretty much over the top, like an iOS update. So all your settings should remain as they were. I know mine did.

But my 4S was never jailbroken. I never had any of these Apps or Tweaks loaded on the new phone. Only on my 4.

My new 4S was restored from iCloud from my old phone, and I think that is the reason these old settings are being re-applied with out me having to touch them. Even ToneFx auto-linked my old Tunes as UI Sounds on my new phone.

Yes, when you restored from the iCloud backup, it restores most, if not all, of your settings.

Oh, my bad - was not very sure what the JB state was on your phones.
