Thinking about deleting JB

Im not wining or anything but I'm just not into my JB phone like I was with the V1. My phone crashes a LOT more than before the JB and every app that i have from it is pretty useless to me. Aurora Feint no longer works and I think it because of the JB. Another reason I think im going to do it is the amount of time it takes to reboot now, it takes about 1.5 minutes.

My question is, do I have to do a complete restore to get rid of the JB and reinstall everything?

Yes, I believe you need to restore. I JB my phone not to long ago and decided to go back to original. I didn't see no other way, but to restore. Long process, but no regrets. I like it this way better. It just seems to run better than JB...IMO. :)

Thanks, as I finished typing this thread my phone will no longer make calls. Its not that im not getting signal or anything its when I push the phone icon it automatically goes to the keypad and freezes for about 5 seconds and kicks me out. Ive reset my phone and 15 mins later it still doesn't work.

Im def. restoring now

Putting your phone into DFU mode and restoring will definitely unjailbreak it. It should let you restore from the last backup when it's done so you shouldn't lose anything.

Well what do you know. I restored my phone and now Aurora Feint works fine (hasn't worked in 3 days) and it even saved where I last was :)

edit: One program i had was make it mine (aka mim) from cydia and I changed my carrier logo to "iChaz" and it still says it! Crazy...

Hopefully Apple doesn't notice it if I ever take my phone in though

You might want to get rid of that. If your iPhone ever breaks on you and you need to take it in, you're in trouble. If the specialist sees ichaz, instead of AT&T, he's gonna say you ran JB on it and refuse to help you.

Make It Mine puts the modified logo in a part of the iPhone that is backed up, thereforee, when you restore from a backup, that modified carrier logo stays. I suggest you do a restore again and do not restore from your backup.

I guess I could also JB again it put it back to normal and then do restore, that way I don't lose my saved games and other stuff
