When I try to upgrade to 1.1.1, iTunes give me this message: This version of the iPhone software (1.0.2) is the current version.
Why is that?
I use iTunes 7.4.0.28
What should I do to be able to download the latest version?
Thanks for your help.

Upgrade your iTunes version I believe ...
Thanks. I read somewhere that you didn't have to update iTunes to be able to upgrade the firmware. I hoped I wouldn't have to do this since I like the fact that I am able to make my own free ringtones. I guess if I update to the latest iTunes version I wont be able to do that anymore :-(

Well, on a mac you don't need the latest iTunes, but it doesn't matter because the ringtones I made through won't play anymore on 1.1.1. They still go to the phone, they just don't make any noise.
