In all the iPhone demos I have not seen or heard anything about a To Do/Task application? This is one of my most used applications! All day long I'm adding To Do items to my phone and referencing my To Do Lists. Is this an available application? I HOPE! If not, how could that be left out?

Thanks for any help!

Fliq Notes and Tasks for iPhone and Mac

There is an application from Mark/Space called Fliq Notes that lets you create, edit, search, sort and share - over WiFi - notes from your iPhone or iPod and exchange them to your Mac.

The company says a Fliq Tasks app (also free from iTunes App Store) is coming that will allow you to do more than ever with your tasks on your iPhone and sync them with iPhone, iPod touch, iCal and Outlook

There are tons of good options for working with tasks on the iPhone. What works best for you will largely depend on what (if anything) you want to sync with (for instance if you already have a desktop or online program you use for this) - but rest assured there are lots of options out there (some paid, some free) ...

I would definitely recommend "Things". Very useful GTD 'getting things done' application which serve as a Task / To-Do list.

I second that. Now that 'Tags' are on the mobile version, it really is a nifty app! I just wish it had an outliner built in for hierarchical notes and nested tasks.

To Do from Appigo and Toodledo are both top notch apps that work on the iPhone for tasks. Also around the end of January should see the release of Pocket Informant which will combine calendar and tasks.

I use Smart Time Plus. It combines calendar and tasks and syncs to google calendar.

I'm going to keep an eye out for Pocket Informant to see what kind of interface it has.

eTask syncs with iCal (mac) and Sunbird (PC) with CalDAV

If you want to fully sync your tasks between your mac, PC, and iPhone using the same open standard (CalDAV) that iCal (mac) and Mozilla Sunbird (PC) use, then check out eTask on the app store.

eTask allows you to view, edit, create, delete, and sync your Tasks on several popular Groupware (e-mail) servers. Currently these include: Kerio Mail Server (KMS), DAViCal, Oracle Beehive, Cosmo Chandler, Yahoo, and SOGo (for primary calendar folders only).

If you don’t have a Groupware server you can create a free account on Yahoo (see the web-site FAW page for details). Once setup you can use the web-interface, iCal/mail (mac), Thunderbird/Lightning or Sunbird from Mozilla.org (PC) to view and modify your tasks. Modifications to your tasks are automatically synchronized between all clients so you never have to take extra sync steps through iTunes or other special software.

Mickey,

Thanks for noticing! We had a bump in the road in that there was an issue with self-signed certificates and the only responsible thing to do was to pull the app until we got it fixed. It's fixed now and we are back on track with many more new features.
