How can I transfer apps from one iPad to another?

You would have to do a backup from your old ipad to either the cloud or your computer and then restore that backup to your new ipad.

You just login to the App Store on the other iPad and re-install the app.

You know what? You are absolutely correct. I was thinking "data" as opposed to "apps"

You'll be able to sync your apps from your computer's iTunes to iPad2 (the apps will be compatible). You could also use the iTunes backup of your iPad1 to restore onto your iPad2 (so that you can have their settings/stats/content). You can't sync directly from one iPad to another.And there is a step by step instruction on How to transfer Apps from iPad to iPad 2.

Just sign in with same Apple id, go to appstore, purchased and reinstall on new ipad
