I hope helping someone with an HTC question is not against Forum Rules!! What program on your computer did you sync your iPhone with?

You need to say how you sync them in the first place. For example, I use GMail and can export to a .csv file. If you manage with Yahoo or Outlook, you have a similar option.

    YMMV

I have another problem in that I have an ipod and my iphone 3g
I can't manage to get my music library onto both
When I try to snyc my iphone with music library from my ipod ipod it doesn't load that music it instead deletes my music on my iphone and im left with no music
but the ipod keeps its library untouched

Go to this weblink - http://www.google.com/mobile/sync/

Follow the setup instructions for the iPhone. The contacts will sync through an Exchange email account. Once the contacts list is fully populated with your contacts on Gmail, on the website, choose to export the contacts to a .csv (comma separated values) file that nearly all mail clients can import. I don't have a functional non-Apple phone presently so you'll need the assistance of another for the import process that specifically addresses your HTC needs. I'm sure their forums can help with that.

    Hope that helps

    Good luck!!

PS - Gmail's "My Contacts" group is the one that syncs with the phone's contact. Thus, all your relevant contacts to be exported must belong to that group to be included in the export, IIRC.

As a last resort, couldn't the OP just Bluetooth the contacts over?
