I had to get a new iPhone 4 today. Backed up the old one, everything ready to go. Got new phone, plugged into the computer, clicked restore from old phone (which was jailbroken, new phone isn't) all was going well, said would take about 1hr. My computer died before it was finished so once I realized I plugged in and started over again telling iPhone to restore. All seemed to be going well, but none of my apps etc are on new phone. I restored phone back to factory settings and tried again. No luck. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to find the specific back up done prior to attaching new phone for first time and somehow choose that backup to restore to? If so, please explain how. I am completely stuck. I have a shiny new phone without a broken screen and can't restore all my stuff! Thank you in advance for your help!

Did you ever back up your contacts? Outlook, Google etc? What do you see when you click on the Info tab?

First sync your Google contacts with iTunes - then sync your contacts with your phone
