Hey,

Has/Is anyone having unusual trouble with .Mac the past 2 days. For some reason, all day I was able to receive mail from my .mac account as well as others but when trying to send messages, I got a popup saying "The recipient was rejected by the server" and "Message was placed in your outbox until it can be sent."

I experienced the same problem sending emails when i tried to use Mail at home.

I did a search and though this has been discussed, it was from a while ago.

Were you trying to send it from the iPhone or your home .mac account?

At the moment, I cannot send mail from my .Mac account, either from my iPhone or from my Mail.app on my Macbook.
check your mail preferences and look at how you are sending them? what is the smtp info? thats usually the cause

let me know

try this link on Apple discussions. I changed my outgoing server port and it worked
