Trying to restore, "your iPhone software server update could not be contacted"

I am trying to restore and it wont let me when I click restore it says "your iPhone software server update could not be contacted" what do I have to do?

Tried both of the solutions on that site and neither of them worked thanks though anyone else?

maybe try putting it in dfu mode? hold top and bottom button till it turns off then keep holding bottom button when it turns on and it should say connect to iTunes and it prob will work?

Ok I figured it out but restoring doesn't mess with your cell phone plan does it

Oh man, I hate hearing that name, no matter how it's spelled. Please do yourself, me, and the rest of humanity a favor an uninstall Norton immediately. Go get AVG free and Adaware free (google search, easy to find) and you will have no problems with viruses or spyware anymore if you run them regularly. Believe me, I visit wickedly unsavory sites and I'm perfectly clean :cool:
