An Apple guy suggested we turn off the WiFi when not in use to save battery life. If I leave my iPhone in the charger each night, is it still necessary to do the turn-off step?

Thanks!

i leave mine on when its on the charger at night, doesn't seem to make much of a difference other than maybe it will charge a little faster with WiFi off. but yes, when it's off the charger, the WiFi is a huge battery hog. if you are not using it, definitely make sure it's off. if you do this, you will be surprised just how far the battery will go.

I can verify that I get much better battery life only turning on wifi when I need it and not just leaving it on.
