Hi Everyone,

Are there any websites that show TV/Video clips that view well on the iPhone? Yahoo videos do not show probably because they are not encoded correctly.

Anything would be appreciated....I will be spending some time in the hospital and would love to be able to see things on the iPhone while laid up in the evil hospital bed!

Thanks so much!

:)

Hi there.

I've looked into this in the past. Here's what I've found with a gearing towards news and it doesn't need wi-fi to work.

MSN's mobile site has tons of videos under subject headings such as News (borrows from NBC's massive mobile news video collection), TV, Comedy and Lifestyle, which all play full screen on iPhone and most other phones that can run mobile video.
http://video.mobile.msn.com/en-us/default.aspx

NBC's own mobile site is impressive for video although there is a lot of crossover with MSN mobile. Lots of videos of its current shows such as Heroes, Knight Rider and The Office and no apparent regional restrictions either so Europeans can watch.
m.nbc.com/iPhone/index.shtml

CBS only has news going from what I can see but there is video.
http://iPhone.cbsnews.com/

Hope that helps.

HOPE THAT HELPS? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

YOU ROCK! This is EXACTLY what I am looking for! I can't tell you how much this means to me! The thought of laying in the hospital without being able to watch things (at least watch what I want) was horrifying....

Let me be the FIRST to give you thanks and please continue to help folks here as you did for me!

:)

YOU ROCK
