I got the impression that one of the advantages of the latest iOS was the ability to do two things at once, presumably for comparison purposes, or checking or transferring data. Is this true? If so, how?

If there's a feature in iOS 9 that offers such, I missed it. Some iPad did get the split screen feature that would make that possible. Not all iPads got it.

It is a mini, not Pro or Air, but I have no idea which one and could not find it in settings. But this may be the solution, certainly.

I remember seeing this on the keynote and thinking how cool it would be. I've used the picture in picture a time or two, but I forgot about the split screen. I'll have to try this out.
