Hi Guys!!
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but the Apple website says to go to your iOS device, mine is an iPhone 5, and go to the Albums tab and there you'll find the new U2 album that you can click on and play, or click on the Cloud icon to download to my device. For the life of me, I don't see the album under Artists or Albums. Any suggestions? Cheers!!

Have you tried "more" "purchased" "not on this phone"? I'm throttled so nothing is loading otherwise I'd look.

I just went to the iTunes Store and entered U2 in the search bar. Then found it from there.

Still isn't showing for me on my iPhone or my iPad. I can go to it in the iTunes store and see that it is "purchased," however, it doesn't show up under the purchased not on this iphone tab.

Here are directions on how to download U2's album using either iTunes on Mac/PC or your iOS device.

Thanks for some reason I was missing the "Recent Purchases" part of it.

Is there a gradual roll-out on this, or should everyone have it already? I followed the steps and I don't see the new album under my purchased tab. I'm using iTunes 11.4, yesterday's update...

All I see are my purchased U2 videos. Removing the keyword "U2" from the search box didn't help, either. I also tried clicking on Store > Check for Available Downloads...

Ahh, I got it...

Step (1.5) Go to the iTunes Store after opening iTunes...

I was clicking on the Purchased quick-link on the left side of the iTunes menu, not the one after you open the iTunes Store...

I've only heard the fist song thus far ("The Miracle of Joey Ramone"), and. yes, it is good.
I was using both my wife's phone and mine during the Keynote. The Keynote on her's and forum chat on mine. At the end, I went to the iTunes Store on my wife's phone and entered U2 in the search bar. Then I found the free album and downloaded it. I just checked on "songs" in my music app and the U2 songs are there. No need to download from the purchased list. Usually if one if us buys a song, the other has to tap the cloud to download it. I knew if you had auto download on for music, it would be on there without downloading, but I don't have that on. Not complaining, just odd. There was one who on complained big time because the U2 album was downloaded to his music library, and he didn't like U2. He didn't seem to get it was because he had auto download enabled. The guy literally freaked out. This was at that other forum. I like some if U2 but not all. Mostly their early songs. I have yet to listen to the free album. If I like any a lot, I'll add them to my Favs playlist.

I love the new record and the more I listen to it the more it grows on me. Familiar yet fresh, simple and soulful. Every Breaking Wave, Song For Someone, Iris, Raised By Wolves, and Sleep Like a Baby Tonight are the standouts IMO. Did I mention Cedarwood Road? Giving me goosebumps as we speak... (y)

Is it just me or are all these people complaining about not wanting this free album just whinny, petulant and annoying?

For those of you who may have recently received an unwanted album from a certain Irish rock band, Apple has created a support document detailing the steps you need to take to remove the unwanted content.
