Unable to connect iTunes Store

I am trying to update an Application and after entering the password I am getting the above subject message! I waited for sometime and tried again but always I am getting same message! It is the first time I am getting such a message and wondering what is behind it.

I was wondering the same thing, I was updating some apps and have gotten that message a few times. I was wondering if the app store is down?

I think its down for iPhones as our family phones cannot connect/download updates. However, iPads still connect? Strange..... Any ideas why?

Same problem, I'm on Verizon. I thought maybe it could be my carrier. Just a thought.

It is O.K now and able to download the update!
