I have no problem paying for this app! I don't even mind ads so keep em here but at the bottom? Yesterday's were annoying.

I couldn't have said it better myself. :)
You are most correct Ray. I could't begin to count the number of times you guys have given me advise or answered a question for me. 99% of everything that I know comes from the help you guys have given me (y)

Everything I know I learned here. All of the members are amazing and bring something to the table. Except for Kevin. :)

What good is the screen on the iPhone 5 if the ads cover the bottom making it the same as the 4S, bring on the paid version, I love this forum and would gladly pay for it :)

I'll be the first to throw down my $0.99 to support the ad free app! Many of us have said so from day one and I'm happy to do it.

I'll pay $0.99 for an ad free version of the app. Anything I can give forward to support the forum, I will do.

P.S. I just noticed this thread. Sorry for my late reply.

So my iPhone died and I grabbed my old iPod Touch 2nd Gen. Guess what? No Ads! This thing hasn't been updated in a long while. The old version doesn't have ads.

Still going to pay for the ad free version. This thing is slow.

Heck I'd pay $2.99 to get rid of the ads!

I always pay for apps or buy ad removal when available. It's worth the $ to me as I want to enjoy the apps I have and not be bombarded by adverts.

Looking forward to the ad free version! :)

It seems to me that, since ads began appearing the app, a "cold start" of the app seems to take a tad longer than before; a pause before content appears. No actual proof, just my impression. YMMV

Just saw this posted on twitter. I'm assuming this is for the full site, cause I'm still showing ads on the app.
Not complaining, as I'm waiting for a paid ad free version of the app:

Yes, all ads removed for desktop browser. Some caveats like app and blog (which is uncontrollable)

I rarely use the desktop browser. Am I missing anything? (Besides the unwanted ads...)

I don't visit the forums as much as I did before the ads came.. My big thumb keeps hitting the ad instead of the reply box and its rather irritating when the ad 1st opens Safari then opens the App Store..

Any idea when an ad free version will be available for purchase?

Is my memory fading? Been very hectic lately, but seeing ads in the app again. Any word on the 'paid' ad free version?

Should have news on this front shortly. Dealing with app denial. For some reason, Apple's App Store review team had a problem accessing the site from the app. Not sure why and need to resubmit. Top of my list for tomorrow.
