I am giong to unlock and sell my V1 16GB iPhone. It is 2.0 already and I know I can only use winpwn. My question is when I set this up on my computer do I leave my old sim card in during the process or not? Is there anything different in the unlock process of an unactivated phone?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter. The SIM card has nothing to do with the 'software' unlocking process in the pwnage method. You can leave it in, or out. Either way, the unactivated phone will be unlocked when you pwn it.

When I bought my iPhone 3G, it deactivated my old iPhone, and then I unlocked it with the SIM card in it. But it doesn't matter either way. As long as you can put a phone in DFU mode, it doesn't matter.
