My iPhone has version 1.0.2 firmware. I have ATT service so I did not run any unlocking software. Only thing I did was jailbreak it and installed installer.app and installed few games and Summerboard. Is it okay to do any Apple updates?

Thats what I was wondering too. I have 1.0.2 with, I believe, iTunes 7.4.1? Not at home so cant say for sure on iTunes. I would love to update the phone to 1.1.1, when hopefully there is a true "1" click process somewhat like apptapp installer. I have and AT&T contract so I don't need to unlock. But I will wait until there is something a little easier. I also see where a lot of people uninstall the the 3rd party apps before updating to 1.1.1 and some who just update to 1.1.1 with no problems. So there are a lot of different methods, but I will wait until something comes out saying update the iPhone to 1.1.1 through iTunes and then run this program to install 3rd party apps, like apptapp installer. I like it simple....
