Upgrade iOS problem

    When i tried upgrading to iOS 5.0.1 on my 3gs, iTunes completed the update successfuly and after it said: not enough space ... Stil i have 9gb free... Help i want ios 5 ... I want Siri on my phone.:)

    As far as the upgrade goes you should have the latest version of iTunes. As far as Siri goes, you will not get it by upgrading a 3GS phone. It is only available on the new iPhone 4s

    Dear showguy, as far as latest version i have updated iTunes 10.x and as far as Siri, that is working perfectly on iPhone 3gs for your kind information

    You'll need to jailbreak to get Siri on the iPhone 3GS. It's not included with iOS 5 on the 3GS.

    I know about all the requirements for Siri .. I know it needs jailbreak ... And how much memory i shud make free for ios 5? I have 9gb free now

    iOS 5 is less than 1 GB. Try restoring to factory settings, updating, jailbreaking and then applying the backup you created right before the failed update.
