I'm really not sure. Money may be an issue for me to consider. I have a number of big important expenditures coming in the next year, and a new iPhone is down at about #5 or 6 on the priority list. So it's a wait and see for me. If not the 6 in February (Verizon upgrade), then maybe the 6s later next year. I've never had the "s" model. So as long as my 5 holds up, I may wait for the 6s. That'll give me time to square away my finances. Heck, getting iOS 8 will feel like having a new phone.
Since iPhone 1.0, I always upgraded each time a new gen came out, but this time around I'm uncertain about upgrading, mostly due to iPhone 6's size. I like how my iPhone 5’s indestructible, and it slips so easily into my pocket. So small and light, it’s barely there. Is it just me? ‘Cause it usually is.
I have an i5, which I'm happy with. I would love to see an iDevice with 128GB of storage, but either way I will be upgrading. The screen is pulling away from my phone and it's affecting how my home button and touch screen work. I'm trying to hold out until the new iDevice comes out, but if it gets much worse I may have to break out the Samsung Galaxy S4.
I am upgrading like every year.
The next release is somewhat unusual for us. It is always me and son who upgrade and hubby is satisfied with the hand me down. He wants a bigger screen iPhone and will upgrade in that case. So we get 3 new iPhones this time around.
Haven't totally decided yet. I want to, but a lot depends on the cost, the kinds of phones offered and their features, not to mention my financial status at the time. My iPhone 5 is still performing well and is up to satisfying my needs for now (as is my wife's hand me down 4S), but. . . . . . .
