I created some user-defined fields in outlook contacts but they do not appear on my G3 iPhone.
For example:- His mobile, Her mobile, His ID number, Her ID number etc.
Is this just something that cannot be done?
Perhaps someone has developed an application that covers this issue.
Regards, Deborah

Yes there is an app. iClink in the app store (free). It has a computer based component program called CompanionLink ($99). It is specifically geared to advanced syncing with Outlook and reports as syncing user defined fields. Also has a $10/month wireless sync service but I don't think this part is mandatory. PRICEY solution!

Many thanks for replying, I posted on another forum and after over 100 views and no replies I gave up. I will look into your suggestion but if I understood correctly it sounds like I will have to pay $99.

Yes, the bottom line is you are buying a sync program that costs $99. CompanionLink syncs with all types of smartphones. iClink allows it to sync with the iPhone.
