Seriously, gold plating? I too smell the opportunity for a scam, though these guys seem legit, if a bit on the low end. They are offering 5-6 micron plating, not bad but not up to the standards for high end jewelry. Expensive plated watches have a plating thickness of 10-20 microns. Costume jewelry is typically 1 micron. Will 5-6 microns last on a watch worn daily? Probably for a number of years, maybe even beyond the technology expiration date of the watch. But I personally couldn't put one on and play the role of a poser.
